Two neighborhoods near the beach in West Los Angeles,
Palms and Mar Vista consist of many young professionals, single
and retired people, new families, and others who enjoy the areas
for their absorbability, accessibility, and quiet neighborhoods. With a combined population of around 100,000, Palms and Mar Vista are urban neighborhoods with a wide array of different types of businesses. Known for its accessibility and convenience, Palms and Mar Vista are close to the beach, LAX, Downtown L.A. and all of the more exclusive areas of the Westside. Both areas consist of diverse, middle class neighborhoods with a great deal of rental housing and predominately smaller single family homes. |
